our mission
To foster improvement in agriculture, to provide recreation facilities and encourage fellowship and good
sportsmanship for the entire community.
We are an incorporated non-profit society that was established on March 20, 1961. Located in north/central Alberta, we are a small but vibrant community. In Tomahawk, the fields are plentiful, the people are welcoming and the community spirit is contagious!
The Ag Society is host to numerous activites such as seniors club, archery club, baseball tournaments,
jamborees, among many other activities and events. We also work closely with Tomahawk School, Tomahawk Rural Crime Watch, Tomahawk Public Library and our local 4H and sports programs.
Tomahawk Trails Book
Copies of 'Tomahawk Trails' are available at the Tomahawk General Store for $35 each. This amazing collection of stories and pictures, tells the history of Tomahawk.
The Tomahawk & District Sports Agricultural Society would like to thank the Drayton Valley Community Foundation for the grant we received through the Henry & Jane Joneson Fund to purchase a projector, screen & sound system! These items have been a huge addition to our hall. We have seen them used during Line Dancing, Walking Group, Auction Live Streams, Monthly Meetings & so much more!
